Nings
I now know what a Ning is. The first few were okay but not good for my use. For example, Educator Ning has mostly middle school information and you have to join. Future of Education Ning lists conferences, etc.
However, Ning for Teachers has lessons. You can click on a grade, subject area and topic. The lessons come up and for the most part , but not always, the correct grade level shows up. If it does not, I found that the lessons can be adjusted. They are also rated by other teachers with stars.
Texas School Librarian Ning links librarians so it seems like it would be a good one for them.
